Delete your Bloomsline account
Last updated 15 September 2026
This page explains how to delete an account in the Bloomsline app, published by Bloomsline SAS. Deleting your account erases what you wrote in the app. It does not delete the records your practitioner keeps about your care.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the Bloomsline app and sign in.
- Tap your profile picture to open Settings.
- Tap More options, then Delete account.
- Confirm. You are signed out on every device.
Delete some of your data and keep your account
What you delete this way is not kept, apart from our hosting provider’s encrypted backups until they expire. Your practitioner’s own records are not affected.
- A moment: open it and tap Delete moment. The moment and its photos, videos and voice notes are erased straight away.
- A journal page: open it and tap the bin at the top. The page is erased straight away. Photos added to it are erased when your account is deleted.
- Sharing: open a moment or journal page you shared and stop sharing it. Your practitioner can no longer see it.
- Anything else: email hi@bloomsline.com from the email address of your account and tell us what to delete.
Without the app
If you can no longer use the app, email hi@bloomsline.com from the email address of your Bloomsline account, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm by email and delete the account in the same way.
30 days to change your mind
Your account is erased 30 days after you ask. Until then nobody can use it, and signing in again restores it exactly as it was. After 30 days it cannot be restored.
What is erased
- Your account: name, email address and sign-in details, including Sign in with Apple.
- Your moments, with their photos, videos and voice notes.
- Your journal pages.
- Your answers to the exercises in Activities.
- Everything you shared with your practitioner from these, which they can no longer see.
What is kept
Your practitioner’s own records about your care, such as appointments, session notes and the documents in your file, are not part of your app account. Your practitioner is responsible for them and must keep them for the periods the law sets for health records. They stop being linked to an app account. To ask about them, contact your practitioner.
Deleted data can remain for a limited time in our hosting provider’s encrypted backups, until those backups expire.
Practitioner accounts
A practitioner account holds patient records, so it is closed with us rather than from the app. Write to hi@bloomsline.com.
